Why We Run
The Turkey Trot for the Memory began as a family Thanksgiving tradition honoring Justice Francis P. O’Connor, whose courage and optimism during his journey with Alzheimer’s inspired a broader community effort.
In 2011, the family’s annual run and walk became a public event. Today, more than 1,000 participants gather each Thanksgiving to raise awareness and critical funds for Alzheimer’s research and care.
