A Community Affair

THANKSGIVING DAY | 8:00 A.M. | SHREWSBURY COMMON

Shrewsburys Turkey Trot—5 Miles for the Memory is an annual Thanksgiving 5-mile run and 2-mile fun run/walk that sends a message of hope to those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, as well as to those caring for them. All proceeds go directly to the Alzheimer’s Association, MA/NH Chapter to Alzheimer’s research, patient and family care, and educational programming.

2018 Is a Wrap!

Despite record-breaking low temperatures, the eighth annual Turkey Trot for the Memory went off without a hitch. Over 1,600 people registered for this year’s event, and nearly 1,000 participants braved the elements and took to the course. We are incredibly grateful to all of our participants, our generous sponsors, and the First Congregational Church, which has opened its doors to the community for this event for eight years. Without this tremendous community support, an event of this magnitude would not be possible — thank you all!

The race results are posted and enjoy a photo gallery of pictures that captured the spirit of yesterday’s race. We look forward seeing you all again at the starting line in 2019. #ENDALZ
