Register online through RunSignup. Online registration is the best way to secure your spot and event T-shirt.

Yes. You can register in person on race morning from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. However, online registration will now remain open until midnight on Wednesday before race day. The race begins at 8 a.m. Thanksgiving morning.

Bib and T-shirt pickup is available at First Congregational Church on Wednesday before the race from 2:30–6:00 p.m. and on race morning from 6:30–7:30 a.m. We strongly encourage Wednesday pickup to help reduce lines on race morning.

Yes. You may pick up bibs and event T-shirts for other registered members of your group.

Event T-shirts, race bibs, and requested T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for participants who register by the deadline listed on the registration page.

Registration fees are non-refundable, as this is a fundraising event. Registrations may not be transferred to another participant. Requests to change events are subject to availability and must be made before race day.

Both events begin promptly at 8 a.m. at Shrewsbury Town Common. Participants line up adjacent to the funeral home. Please arrive early enough to park, pick up your bib if needed, and reach the start area before 8 a.m.

Choose between the 5-mile run and the 2-mile fun run/walk. View the 5-mile course or the 2-mile course.

No. For a safe and smooth start, please line up according to your expected pace, with faster runners toward the front and walkers toward the back.

Strollers are welcome, but the course can be crowded, especially at the start. For everyone’s safety, participants with strollers should begin near the back and follow all directions from course volunteers.

Please leave dogs at home. Because of the number of participants and the crowded start area, dogs on the course create a safety risk.

Parking is limited, so please walk to the event if you can. Available parking locations include:

• Behind the former Beal School
• Main & Maple
• UMass Memorial Medical Group offices on Main Street

VERIFY FOR 2026: Confirm that all lots remain available and add any road-closure or accessible-parking instructions.

Portable restrooms are available in the First Congregational Church parking lot, and a water station is available along the course.

The Turkey Trot for the Memory takes place rain, shine, or snow. Dress in layers appropriate for the conditions. In extreme weather, race directors will work with the Town of Shrewsbury to determine whether safety-related changes are necessary. Updates will be posted on the website and the event’s social media channels.

Results will be emailed to participants and posted online after the race.

Photos and past results will be added to our website as when they become available. A link will also be emailed to participants with race results.
